Riding Lessons
We have multiple English Hunter Jumper lesson opportunities at Skyline Stables for all ages and all skill levels.
​SKYLINE STABLES LESSON PROGRAM: For our beginner through intermediate riders who want to lesson using one of our wonderful lesson program horses, we offer several 1x-weekly or 2x-weekly lesson packages. Our options are designed to meet riders individual goals - to learn and grow, have fun, experience the joy of horses, or try a new experience through competition at local horse shows - we have an place for you. ​
FALL RIVER FARM TRAINING ONSITE AT SKYLINE: For Intermediate to Advanced riders who own or lease a horse, we offer a range of packages through a partnership with the renowned trainers of Fall River Farms. All level adult lessons (beginner through advanced) are also available through this program. The Fall River Farm team are onsite at Skyline Stables at least five days a week offering small group lessons, show prep and training rides. ​
Skyline Lesson Program Trainers

Madison is a three-day event rider based in Boulder, Colorado. She grew up immersed in the United States Pony Club, where she earned her C-2 and H-B certifications and served on the National Youth Board.
During her high school years, Madison worked for Grand Prix dressage rider Anita Williams and groomed at the FEI North American Youth Championships in 2018 and 2019. In 2024, Madison’s self-produced pony, Taylamor Penelope, earned the title of US Eventing National Novice (3’) Pony Champion and was named USEA Area IX Horse of the Year. That same year, Madison was recognized as the 2024 Area IX Young Rider of the Year. She is currently excited to be producing her next Welsh/Thoroughbred pony, Daisy Duchess.

Madison believes that confidence, like trust, cannot be bought—it must be earned. She is passionate about creating an engaging and honest learning environment where every horse and rider has a voice. She takes pride in helping students understand not only the “what” of their riding, but also the “why,” empowering them to become thoughtful, confident equestrians.

Outside of the barn, Madison is a third-year PhD student studying Aerospace Engineering, bringing the same discipline and dedication from her academic pursuits into her riding and teaching.

Jules is excited to be part of the Skyline Stables team, where she teaches beginner riders. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business with a focus in Marketing and Equine Management and Sciences, and is currently completing her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Jules grew up riding Western and went on to compete in high school rodeo, proudly serving as the 2020–2021 Miss Rodeo Deer Trail. She continued riding collegiately at Chadron State and has spent many years teaching English and Western riding lessons and sharing her passion and knowledge of horses with students of all ages. She is especially passionate about working with young riders and helping them build confidence while developing a lifelong love for the equestrian world.

Outside of the barn, Jules works at an elementary school in Thornton, Colorado. She is also a proud dog mom to Millie, her blue-eyed Corgi, who often joins her for barn days. Jules is thrilled to be part of the Skyline Stables community and looks forward to welcoming riders and families into the Skyline horse family.

6-Week Lesson Sessions
Each Session Includes:

5 weeks of riding

1 week of on-the-ground horsemanship education

This structure allows for a built-in rest week for our horses, ideally aligning with farrier and veterinary schedules, while providing valuable educational opportunities for riders. Ground sessions may include horsemanship instruction, grooming and braiding clinics, vet and farrier learning, liberty work, and other hands-on experiences that strengthen rider knowledge and connection with the horse.

Lessons are planned for groups of up to four riders, with occasional exceptions when appropriate.

Package A: Lessons with a Program Horse

*Lesson horses are assigned at the trainer’s discretion based on rider fit and horse workload to ensure safety and horse welfare.
